Just as a high performance or racing engine is built to more exacting specifications than a production engine, Mercury Racing's legendary prop lab is available to modify production and racing propellers for optimum performance. Using the experience gained from years of testing at Lake X and race courses around the world , the prop lab will blueprint and balance a stock propeller to get the last few miles an hour out of your boat. RPM adjustments of up to 200 RPM are possible.

Speed increases of 2-3 miles per hour are common. In many cases, this is the biggest gain for the least money you can make. Cost is about $150 per blade.
